Kenosha City Council slapped mayoral candidate Nasser Museitif with a denial of his cabaret license. Alderman Anthony Nudo was the complainant, and mayoral candidates Jesse Downing and Ray Misner voted against granting Kenosha Tap its license because of an "illegal structure" provided for outdoor smoking. Is this good government or payback?

I believe that alderman Downing voted against the denial. Mr. Misner voted in favor along with the rest of the "Fab 5" voting block. Not surprising if you think about it...

You are correct Mr. Chesterton, Aldermen Michalski, Ohnstad, Kennedy and Downing voted against denial.

Payback, pure and simple. Guess when he's mayor, he can get it back.

His bar is still open? I thought he said that he was going to close it if the smoking ban passed.

I don't remember him saying that. When exactly was that?

I can't believe Mayor Bosman would treat a political foe like that. I guess he's not the nice Guy we thought he was!

So what? What does that have to do with being denied a cabaret license?
